About ZenTick
A free Pomodoro focus timer and learning resource for students, developers, writers, and anyone who wants calmer, more consistent deep work.
What we believe
Free forever
Core timer features stay free. No sign-up wall on what matters.
Private by default
Settings and tasks stay in your browser—not on our servers.
Practical guides
Honest Pomodoro advice with routines you can actually use.
Our mission
ZenTick exists to make focused work feel lighter. The Pomodoro technique works because it lowers the barrier to starting: you commit to a short sprint, not an endless grind. We pair that structure with a clean timer, optional ambient sound, and honest guides — no sign-up wall, no paywall on core features.
What you get
- A browser-based Pomodoro timer with customizable focus and break lengths
- Ambient sounds (rain, café, lofi, forest, white noise) that play during focus and pause on breaks
- A local task list so you can name what each sprint is for
- Keyboard shortcuts and daily session stats stored on your device
- In-depth guides on intervals, studying, coding, distractions, and common mistakes
How we publish content
Our guides are written to be practical and specific — step-by-step routines, realistic intervals, and fixes for problems people actually hit (phone distractions, context switching, exam cramming). We update articles when methods or product features change.
Privacy-first by design
